Refrigerant 152a
(1,1-Difluorethane, R152a, Freon 152a, ethylenfluoride, Genetron-152a, MackFri-152a, Halocarbon-152a)Refrigerant 152a (1,1-Difluorethane, R152a, Freon 152a, ethylidenfluoride, Genetron-152a, MackFri-152a, Halocarbon-152a) is a colorless gas, liquefied under pressure. It is a widespread component of mixture cooling agents; a gas-displacer for spray cans; material for production of vinyl fluoride. For physical, thermodynamic and refrigerating it is properties similar to refrigerants (freons) R-12 and R-134a.
Refrigerant 152a (1,1-Difluorethane, R152a, Freon 152a, ethylidenfluoride, Genetron-152a, MackFri-152a, Halocarbon-152a) is a combustible, explosive gas. Ignition area in air is 3.7-18.0% (by volume). It decomposes on contact with open flame and hot surfaces, producing highly toxic products. It exerts corrosive effect on metals except steel (Russian Standard) - St.3, 40X13, 08Х22Н6Т, 08Х21Н6М2Т, 10Х17Н13М3Т. Under conditions of UV radiation, radiolysis or high temperature, it reacts with chlorine; in the presence of oxygen reacts with ozone (oxidizes); at very high temperatures or in the presence of catalysts, decomposes with generation of fluoroethylene.
Packaging: Refrigerant 152a (1,1-Difluorethane, R152a, Freon 152a, ethylidenfluoride, Genetron-152a, MackFri-152a, Halocarbon-152a) is packed in steel cylinders working under pressure, filling (charging, pumping) factor not more than 0,8kg on 1 dm3 of cylinder capacity.
The product is stored in warehouse, under a canopy or in open air avoiding direct sunlight.
All types of carriage in compliance with hazardous goods rules transport R152a.
