REFRIGERANT 318C
(Octafluorocyclobutane, R C318, Freon C318, perfluorocyclobutane, MackFri-318C, Halocarbon-C318, RC318, FC C318)Refrigerant 318C (Octafluorocyclobutane, R C318, Freon C318, perfluorocyclobutane, MackFri-318C, Halocarbon-C318, RC318, FC C318) is a colorless gas without odor, liquefied under pressure. It is used as a cooling agent, gas dielectric, propellant, reagent for dry etching when producing IC chips. It is an effective fire-fighting substance.
Refrigerant 318C (Octafluorocyclobutane, R C318, Freon C318, perfluorocyclobutane, MackFri-318C, Halocarbon-C318, RC318, FC C318) is a non-combustible, non-explosive gas. Self-ignition temperature is 632°C. Ignition area in air does not exist. It decomposes on contact with open flame and hot surfaces, producing highly toxic products. At high temperatures, the product reacts with fluorine.
Refrigerant 318C (Freon C318, RC318) is packed in steel cylinders working under pressure. Filling (charging, pumping) factor not more than 1,1kg on 1 dm3 of cylinder capacity. The product is stored in warehouse, under a canopy or in open air avoiding direct sunlight.
All types of carriage in compliance with hazardous goods rules transport RC318.
